Once in a while you get a hankering for some Middle Eastern flavours, and this was just 3 blocks from where I was staying. We're not going to get into minute details here, it was lockdown and I basically lived off take-away for a month, so sometimes you want a little variety.

I went for the Shish Taouk (with Chicken), and asked for lots of pickled chillis and less sauce.
Ali Baba Friedrichshein
In the world of cheeky take-aways,Ali Baba at least serves up fresh, flavoursome and tasty food. There is barely any oil or grease here, so you can eat it with a bit of a clearer conscience. The rice was good, the chicken succulent and had good flavour, and the salad was crisp and needed for relief. All in all I have had far worse take-aways in the area, and this would most definitely sit in the top row as far as i'm concerned.
These recommendations are just personal opinions based on my palate, things change, chefs get fired or replaced, places open-close, relocate, so take it all with a pinch of MSG  and discover your own gems too. But please do try a few of these, they have been researched exhaustively.
