Rating: 9 / 10 I'll walk to the ends of the earth for a great masala dosa. No, really. Having spent my childhood in tamil nadu, dosa's were a treat we'd get on saturdays, running down to Kurinji's opposite Chellarams to order one followed by some ice-cream. Those childhood flavours sat with me all through my adult life. There are two branches in KL, and you can bet your ass I tried them both. For my personal preferences the one on Leboh Ampang is the legit one. The dosa here is achingly crispy, yet maintains enough white meat to create texture and substance, the sambar is mindblowing and the coconut, mint and tomato chutneys are all excellent. Heaven forbid I waylaid anyone in the quest for the perfect dosa, but this for me is the outright winner in KL, so far. You can see the lengths I went to in crowning it, this was just just a fools pursuit: KL's Best Dosa These recommendations are just personal opinions based on my palate, things change, chefs get fired or replaced, places open-close, relocate, so take it all with a pinch of MSG and discover your own gems too. But please do try a few of these, they have been researched exhaustively.
