"Caffeine rush apocalypse" This hip cafe sits across the main roads heading into Bukit Bintang. Slightly off the tourist route, you'll most likely run into local caffeine addicts and ex-pats here. My tip would be to grab your coffee and head upstairs to the glass room overlooking some far spreading trees. If you are a global nomad it's the perfect place to wile away your day with food on offer too. The cold-brew coffee comes in handy take-away bottles if you've got a deadline to reach. This was my daily stop when I stayed at the hotel down the road. Friendly service, not too loud and pretty spot on coffee everytime. Consistency is key to making a place a regular as opposed to random haunt, and VCR have got that nailed down. These recommendations are just personal opinions based on my palate, things change, chefs get fired or replaced, places open-close, relocate, so take it all with a pinch of MSG and discover your own gems too. But please do try a few of these, they have been researched exhaustively.
